1. Who we are and what this site is

CollegeProphet is a college financial-planning tool that is currently in development. This website is a pre-launch page: it describes the product, shows previews, publishes articles about college costs, and lets you join a waitlist to be notified when we launch. The full product is not yet available through this site.

2. Who can use this site

• You must be 13 or older to join the waitlist. We use an age screen on our signup forms and do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are under 13, please ask a parent or guardian to join the waitlist for your family instead.
• If you are under 18, you should review these terms, and the product when it launches, together with a parent or guardian.
• Anyone may read the site and blog without signing up for anything.

3. The waitlist

Joining the waitlist means we will email you when CollegeProphet launches and may occasionally send related updates. Joining is free, does not obligate you to anything, and does not guarantee access to the product, a launch date, or any particular features. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in our emails or by contacting us, and we'll remove you from the list.

4. Not financial, legal, or educational advice

Everything on this site (statistics, projections, calculators, previews, and blog articles) is provided for general informational and educational purposes only. It is not financial advice, loan advice, or a recommendation to attend or avoid any school, borrow or not borrow, or choose any career. Figures shown are estimates built from public data sources and simplified models; your real costs, aid, salaries, and outcomes will differ. Always confirm numbers with the school, lender, or a qualified professional before making decisions. 5. Acceptable use

• Don't attempt to break, overload, probe, or gain unauthorized access to the site or its backing services.
• Don't submit someone else's email address without their permission, or knowingly submit false information to bypass the age screen.
• Don't use the feedback/comment feature to post unlawful, abusive, or spam content, or anyone's personal information.
• Don't scrape, resell, or republish site content at scale without permission.

6. Our content

The CollegeProphet name, logo, design, and site content belong to us or our licensors. You may share links to the site and quote reasonable excerpts with attribution; you may not copy the site or pass our content off as your own.

7. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The site is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, or for decisions you make in reliance on information shown on this site. Some jurisdictions don't allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

8. Changes and termination

We may update this site, the waitlist, or these terms at any time. If we make material changes to these terms, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We may suspend or discontinue the site or waitlist at our discretion.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and of the state in which CollegeProphet's operator is based, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
